AMG Branch: A tale of two engineers united by a love for speed and the world of engines

It is the story of two engineers Aufrecht and Melcher who worked in the racing engine development division of Daimler-Benz before the company closed its sports car division. However، that didn't stop them from completing work on the engine which soon found its place in the 300SE that managed to win 10 German Touring Car Championships. The first major achievement was in 1971 during the 24 Hours of Endurance Race in Spa، Belgium. The two engineers continued to develop engines and the company expanded from small to medium.
